Coin conversion allows you to convert one coin into another without using the trading terminal or the order book. The operation is performed from your Main account in EMCD Wallet.
How to convert coins
Open Assets on the website or Home in the app.
Select Converter.
Select the coin you want to sell.
Select the coin you want to receive.
Enter the amount.
Check the Rate and the final amount you will receive.
Confirm the conversion while the calculation is still valid.
Check your new balance and transaction history.
How the Rate is determined
A preliminary calculation is displayed before you confirm the operation. The Rate is locked for a limited time shown on the screen. When it expires, the system requests a new calculation.
How coin conversion differs from trading
With coin conversion, you confirm a quoted price, and the converted funds are credited to your Main account.
In the trading terminal, you can select a trading pair and an order type. Trading uses funds from your Trading account.

Why coin conversion may be unavailable
Possible reasons include:
Insufficient funds in your Main account;
the amount is below the minimum or above the maximum limit;
the selected trading pair is temporarily unavailable;
the quote has expired;
regional or account restrictions apply;
the service is temporarily unable to retrieve the current Rate.
What should I do if I have a problem?
If your balance has not changed after confirmation, open your transaction history and check the operation status.
Do not repeat the conversion until you know the result of the first operation.
When contacting EMCD Support, prepare information about the coin you sell, the coin you receive, the amount, the operation time, and a screenshot of the calculation.
