The Trading account is used for placing deals in the EMCD trading terminal. Funds in your Main account do not automatically become your trading balance. Before you start trading, you need to Transfer them to your Trading account.
How to top up the Trading account
Open Assets on the website or Home in the app.
Select Transfer.
Select a transfer from the Main account to the Trading account.
Enter the coin and the amount.
Review the details and confirm the transfer.
The transfer is processed within EMCD, so you do not need to enter a wallet address or select a network. No Network fee is charged for this type of transfer.
How to transfer funds back to the Main account
Make sure your coins are not being used in open orders.
Open the account transfer section.
Select a transfer from the Trading account to the Main account.
Enter the coin and the amount.
Confirm the transfer and check both balances.
If part of your funds is locked in an open order, cancel the order or wait until it is executed before transferring your funds.
How the Trading account differs from coin conversion
The trading terminal is designed for self-directed trading using trading pairs and orders. The Trading account is used for all trading operations.
Coin conversion uses the Main account. You select two coins, review the preliminary Rate, and confirm the conversion without using the order book.

Can I withdraw coins directly from the Trading account?
No. Coins cannot be withdrawn directly from the Trading account. First, Transfer them to your Main account, after which they can be used for other operations.
Can I close only the Trading account?
The Trading account cannot be closed separately. To remove it, you must delete your entire account.
What should I do if I have a problem?
If the available amount is lower than your total balance, check whether you have any open orders.
If an internal transfer takes too long to complete, do not create another transfer and contact EMCD Support.
If the balances do not match, take screenshots of both the Main account and the Trading account, then contact EMCD Support.
