The Card account is the balance of your payment card. It does not replace your Main account and is not a bank account.
Which currency the card uses
The balance of the virtual card is maintained in US dollars. The card is topped up using USDT from your Main account, after which the amount is converted according to the terms of the card product.
Before confirming the top-up, check:
the amount deducted in USDT;
the amount credited to the card;
the Rate;
the fee;
the applicable limits.
The available terms depend on your card plan and may change. Before confirming the operation, review the final calculation displayed in the interface.
What the card balance is used for
Funds in the card balance are used to pay for goods and services anywhere Mastercard is accepted and where the transaction is permitted under the provider's rules.
This is different from buying coins with your personal bank card. In the first case, funds from your card balance are used. In the second case, an external Payment method is used to Top up your EMCD Wallet Main account.
How to top up the card
Open the Payment card section.
Select the required card.
Select Top up.
Enter the amount.
Check the amount deducted from your Main account, the Rate, the fee, and the amount credited to the card.
Confirm the operation.
Can I transfer money from the card back to the Main account?
A free transfer from the card balance back to the Main account is not supported. Any remaining balance is returned when the card is closed.
What should I do if I have a problem?
If funds have been deducted from your Main account but have not been credited to the card, check your transaction history and the card top-up status. Do not repeat the operation until you have confirmed that the first one has been completed.
If the problem persists, contact EMCD Support.
When contacting EMCD Support, prepare the last four digits of the card, the date, and the amount of the operation. Never provide the full card number, the security code (CVV/CVC), or one-time verification codes.
