Why an Advertisement Is Not Visible on EMCD P2P

If an advertisement does not appear in the EMCD P2P listings, it is usually not a technical issue. In most cases, this is related to ad posting requirements, account settings, or how listings are displayed. Below are the main reasons.

Updated this week

1. Ad is inactive

Check the status in the My Advertisements section. An ad will not be displayed if:

  • It was manually disabled

  • It was automatically deactivated by the system

  • The available amount is temporarily unavailable for trading

Only active advertisements with available balance are shown on EMCD P2P.

2. Insufficient balance or limit mismatch

An ad may not be displayed if its parameters do not match the actual balance. This happens when:

  • The available balance is below the minimum order limit

  • Funds are locked in other active orders

  • The set limit range exceeds the available balance

Until the balance meets the ad conditions, it will not appear in listings.

3. Does not match buyer filters

Filters are applied when searching for ads, such as:

  • Currency

  • Payment method

  • Bank or payment system

  • Amount range

  • Trade direction (buy/sell)

If the ad parameters do not match selected filters, it will not appear in search results, even if it is active.

4. Account requirements not met

To publish and display advertisements, the following is required:

  • Completed identity verification (KYC)

  • Enabled two-factor authentication (2FA)

  • A payment method with valid details and a matching account holder name

If KYC is incomplete, 2FA is disabled, or payment details do not meet requirements, the advertisement may be removed or its visibility limited.

5. P2P trading restrictions or rule violations

An advertisement may be hidden if the system detects violations, such as:

  • Frequent order cancellations

  • Repeated delays in confirming payment or releasing crypto

  • Complaints from counterparties

  • Attempts to move communication or payments off-platform

  • Prohibited information in ad terms

If orders are canceled more than three times in a row, access to P2P trading may be temporarily restricted for 24 hours. During this period, active ads are automatically removed from listings.

6. Security checks or risk controls

The system may temporarily hide an advertisement during internal checks. This can happen in cases of:

  • Unusual trading activity

  • Sharp price deviations from the market range

  • Suspected processing activity

  • Risky payment details

  • Prohibited content in the ad

  • Reports or signals of suspicious transactions

During the review, ad visibility may be limited.

7. Low position in listings

The list of advertisements is generated automatically. Position depends on:

  • Price competitiveness

  • Available volume

  • Order processing speed

  • Completed trade statistics

  • Dispute history

If the price is less competitive or account performance is lower, the ad may appear lower in the list.

8. Temporary technical issues

In some cases, an advertisement may not be visible due to:

  • Platform interface updates

  • Data synchronization

  • Unstable internet connection

In such cases, refresh the page or check the ad status again.

Important note

If the advertisement is active, the balance meets all requirements, and no restrictions apply but it is still not visible, contact EMCD P2P support and provide the advertisement ID for verification.
