Why Was P2P Advertisement Hidden?

On EMCD P2P, advertisements undergo automatic checks and may also be reviewed manually when necessary.

If an advertisement has been hidden, it indicates that the system or support team has detected a violation of platform rules, account requirements, or P2P trading parameters.

Below are the main reasons why an advertisement may be removed from publication.

1. Failure to Meet Account Requirements

To post an advertisement on EMCD P2P, the following is required:

  • Completed identity verification (KYC)

  • Enabled two-factor authentication (2FA)

  • A valid payment method with account holder details that match the verified identity

If verification has expired, 2FA is disabled, or inconsistencies in payment details are detected, the advertisement may be hidden automatically.

In some cases, the ability to post new advertisements may also be restricted until the issue is resolved.

2. Violation of P2P Trading Rules

An advertisement may be hidden if the following are detected:

  • Repeated order cancellations initiated by the advertiser (maker)

  • Consistent delays in confirming payment or releasing cryptocurrency

  • Complaints from counterparties

  • Attempts to move communication or payments outside the platform

  • Including information in advertisement terms that violates platform rules

On EMCD P2P, any actions that bypass the platform or create risk for the counterparty are considered violations.

If more than three orders are canceled consecutively due to user actions, the account is restricted for 24 hours. During this period, advertisements are automatically removed from publication.

3. Pricing or Limit Issues

The system may automatically hide an advertisement in the following cases:

  • Set limits cannot be fulfilled

  • Insufficient funds are available in the P2P wallet to cover the advertisement volume

  • Advertisement parameters become outdated due to price changes

If the balance drops below the specified amount, the advertisement is removed from publication until funds are replenished.

4. Regional or Payment Method Restrictions

An advertisement may be hidden if:

  • The selected payment method is temporarily unavailable

  • Regional restrictions apply

  • Payment details are unverified or under review

The system may also temporarily hide the advertisement if high-risk payment details are detected (for example, due to frequent disputes associated with a specific payment method).

5. Security and Compliance Checks

As part of internal monitoring, EMCD P2P may temporarily suspend an advertisement for additional review. This may occur in the following situations:

  • Unusual trading activity

  • Significant deviation from the market price range

  • Suspected processing-related activity

  • Signals indicating a potentially high-risk transaction

During the review, advertisements may be unavailable, and trading functions may be restricted.

What to Do If an Advertisement Is Disabled

If an advertisement has been hidden:

  • Check account status and any active restrictions

  • Review order history, especially frequent cancellations

  • Ensure payment methods are correctly added

  • Contact EMCD support via the official Help Center if necessary
