Mining to an external wallet: How to get free payouts
Mining to an external wallet: How to get free payouts

When do I get paid? How much crypto do I need for a free withdrawal?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

At EMCD, you can get your mining rewards to:

  1. The EMCD wallet

  2. An external wallet

  3. Coinhold

Here, we’ll see how to get mining payouts to an external wallet for free.

When do I get free mining payouts to an external wallet?

This payout is timed — you can get that transfer at a specific time of day. Free mining payouts to an external wallet are made daily between 13:00 and 14:00 UTC.

To get the coins to your external wallet, you need to wait for the network to confirm the transaction. Confirmation is an automatic process, it’s not affected by our platform, it depends on the coin network, the transaction processing speed and workload.

After the payout is sent, you’ll get a notification and can see the number of the transaction — TxID — in the ‘Payouts’ section. This number lets you check your transaction in the blockchain. Read How to find the status of my transaction in the blockchain browser.

As soon as the transaction is verified, the coins will be delivered to your external wallet. You also can check with your external wallet’s support team to find out exactly how many confirmations are required.

If your free payout hasn't arrived, check the possible reasons in the section below.

What’s the minimum amount required for a free mining payout?

Why didn't my payout go through?

Check the reasons listed below:

1. Did you confirm installing/updating your external wallet using the link we emailed you?

The payout will not go through until you confirm the external wallet installation/update via the link from the letter in the mail.

2. When did you install/update the external wallet?

If the address was installed/updated recently, there’s a 24-hour period when payouts are blocked for security reasons. Wait 24 hours after you confirm the new external wallet address before we will send your first payout.

Example:

  1. You confirmed the wallet setup for payouts on the 1st of the month at 15:00 UTC

  2. For security reasons, the payout block is set for 24 hours from 15:00 UTC on the 1st day until 15:00 UTC on the 2nd day

  3. At the time the lockout ends at 15:00 UTC on the 2nd, the 2nd day’s payout period already lapsed between 13:00 and 14:00 UTC

  4. This way, your first payout will only go through on the 3rd between 13:00 and 14:00 UTC

3. Do you have enough coins in your account for the free payout?

If you have less than the minimum amount required for the payout, the payout will fail.

If you set a custom minimum payout threshold yourself, the payout will only be made once you accumulate more coins than the minimum threshold you have set.

Example:

  1. On the 1st day at 09:00 UTC you set a minimum withdrawal threshold of 0.1 BTC

  2. Your mining account balance = 0.099 BTC

  3. Since your balance is below the minimum withdrawal threshold, the free payout won’t happen on the 1st at 13:00 to 14:00 UTC. In this case, you’ll receive the transfer next days only after the balance of your mining account reaches the minimum threshold you set.

4.Was the transaction confirmed in the network?

You need to wait for the transaction to be confirmed in the network for the coins to arrive in the external wallet.

As soon as the transaction is verified, the coins will be transferred to your external wallet. You can check with that wallet’s support to find out exactly how many confirmations are required.

If the transaction has the required number of confirmations, but still doesn’t appear in your external wallet, contact your external wallet’s support team — it looks like the issue is not on our end now.
