How does the referral program work?
Referral payouts are made every day at the time when mining payouts are credited.
Referral rewards are credited in the amount of 5% of the mining fee that your referral paid to the pool.
What does that look like in practice?
You invited your friend, and they started mining BTC with a hashrate of 100 Th(*)
With a basic percentage of 5% of the fee and a basic pool fee of 1.5%:
The referral will pay the pool a fee of 1.5%
100 Th * 0.04 = 1.5 Th fee
The pool will transfer 5% of their fee to you as a referral reward
1.5 Th * 0.05 = 0.075 Th income
(*) — Th is a terahash, a unit of measurement for hashrate (the computing power of the equipment)
How much can I earn from the referral program?
There are no limits on the amount of income. Your income from participating in the EMCD referral program depends on the number of invited friends and their turnover. The more referrals and the greater their turnover, the higher your income.
Where can I find the referral program?
In the web version, the new section is called Referrals and is available in the main menu on the left side of the screen.
In the mobile app, the section is called Referral Program and is located on the Profile page.
How can I see the referral reward percentage?
In the web version:
Hover over the How does it work? button in the upper-right corner of your personal account and click it. After adding your first referral, the reward percentage will be indicated directly on the Referrals page.
In the mobile app:
Tap the question mark in the upper-right corner of the Referral Program section. A window will then open showing the referral reward percentage. When the first referral joins, the reward percentage will be displayed in the Referral Program section.
How are referral rewards for mining paid out?
Referral rewards for mining are paid out every day at the time when mining payouts are credited — from 10:00 to 12:00 (Moscow time).
Can I participate with a sub-account?
The referral program does not provide for participation by sub-accounts. The program is available only on the main account.
My referral followed several referral links before registering — who will become their referrer?
If a referral (an invited user) followed several different referral links, then upon registration they will be linked to the referrer (the creator of the referral link) whose link they used last before registering.
The referral was not linked — what should I do?
Sometimes situations may arise where your friend or acquaintance followed your referral link, registered, but did not appear in your list of referrals.
In such cases, you need to contact our support team to have the information checked.
To link the referral in this situation, they will also need to email the support service at [email protected] from the email address with which their account is registered.
In the email to the support address, the referral needs to describe their request and indicate the email address of the referrer to whom they were unable to be linked.
