How events and notifications work in EMCD Monitoring

Learn how the platform detects hashrate and temperature deviations, and where to read event details for all your devices.

Events are created automatically when the platform detects an anomaly on a device. They let you react to a failure without watching the dashboard.

Event types

Two types are supported:

  • Hashrate deviation — a drop of more than 5% from the normal value.

  • Temperature deviation — a rise of more than 5% above the norm.

Notification delivery channels

Two delivery channels are available:

  • Email — the address is taken from the account the user was invited to the organization with. It can't be changed.

  • Telegram — connected through the @emcdbot bot. You can change and re-link your Telegram account at any time.

How to enable Telegram notifications

  1. Open @emcdbot in Telegram.

  2. Tap /start.

  3. Copy the code from the chat with the bot.

  4. Paste the code into the corresponding field in your Monitoring settings.

  5. Click Confirm.

The code is valid for 15 minutes.

To work through the device list more easily, use filters, sorting, and the platform's main pages.
