Subaccounts

What are subaccounts?

Updated yesterday

Subaccounts are internal accounts inside your main profile.

They help you organize your activity and access without needing to create separate accounts with different email addresses.

Why subaccounts are useful:

  • to keep different devices separated under their own accounts;

  • to split personal mining from “work” mining (for partners, clients, or different projects);

  • to reduce risk — if something happens in one subaccount, the others are not affected.

How to create a subaccount:

  1. Open your Profile 👤

  2. Go to Settings ⚙️

  3. Tap your username at the top

  4. Select “Add subaccount”

How subaccounts work:

  • each subaccount has its own workers, settings, and statistics;

  • you can easily switch between subaccounts inside the main account.

What a subaccount is and how it differs from the main account:

A subaccount is essentially a separate workspace inside your main EMCD profile. It lets you organize mining activity, connect different devices, and manage separate wallets under one account.

A subaccount has almost the same functionality as the main account, except for P2P trading and card withdrawals.

This makes subaccounts especially useful for separating mining setups — for example, by location or by different equipment groups.

Workers are also fully independent between the main account and subaccounts, so you can manage them separately without overlap.
